There are many groups that meet for study and fellowship at various times during the week. Offerings accommodate all types of working schedules. See the listing below.

We also hold Church-Wide Studies on Sunday evenings in the Fall and Spring. The topics vary, and childcare is provided so that families can attend together.

First Methodist Women Circle Meetings
Morning Circle meets the Third Thursday of each month at 10:00 am in Room 109

Evening Circle meets the Last Tuesday of each month at 5:00 pm in Room 110.

Power Lunch - In the Word
A noon Bible Study led by Greg Bergstedt meets Tuesdays at 12 noon in Room 109.

In depth study of men's issues
Times vary, but currently meeting 1st & 3rd Mondays, 6:00-700pm

Louisiana United Methodist Cursillo Retreat
A 3-day experience that looks at Christianity as a lifestyle from a New Testament perspective. Cursillo is a combined effort of laity and clergy toward the renewal of the church. It is held 4 times a year at the Wesley Retreat Center in Woodworth, LA. Contact the church office if you are interested in attending a retreat weekend.
