There are many groups that meet for study and fellowship at various times during the week. Offerings accommodate all types of working schedules. See the listing below.
We also hold Church-Wide Studies on Sunday evenings in the Fall and Spring. The topics vary, and childcare is provided so that families can attend together.

First Methodist Women Circle Meeting
First Methodist Women meet the Third Thursday of each month at 10:00 am in Room 109
Power Lunch - In the Word
A noon Bible Study led by Greg Bergstedt meets Tuesdays at 12 noon in Room 109.
Men's Book Study
In depth study of men's issues. Meeting 1st & 3rd Mondays, 6:00-7:00pm and led by licensed family therapist, Rev. Doug Ezell

An overview of the history and beliefs of the Methodist church
held during the Sunday School hour 10:00 am and is offered each spring and fall.
Louisiana United Methodist Cursillo Retreat
A 3-day experience that looks at Christianity as a lifestyle from a New Testament perspective. Cursillo is a combined effort of laity and clergy toward the renewal of the church.
